SEASON OF GIVING: THE CORNER COMMUNITY SUPPORTS BLANKETED WITH LOVE
Consider giving the gift of warmth this holiday season. Join us in supporting Blanketed With Love, a local charity that donates blankets to those in need. Now through December 23, The Corner invites you to drop off a blanket—either homemade or store-bought—at the studio and receive a free open gym pass, sauna session, or 10% off a retail item.
Giving—and making—is easy! Pop over to JOANN Fabric on Mack Avenue for the simple cut-and-tie, no-sew, fleece blanket kit, choose a fun pattern that gives you joy, and share it with someone who needs it most. Get the whole family involved and spread the love!
Blanketed With Love distributes blankets to organizations in the Detroit area, including St. Patrick Senior Center, Pope Francis Center, and Most Holy Trinity Parish, helping to care for the homeless, sick, and disadvantaged. The nonprofit donates around 500 blankets each year, with last year totaling close to 700. As the weather gets colder and the holidays approach, every blanket helps and yours can make a difference.
