“Lagree is suitable for all ages because of its low impact on the joints, spine, and connective tissue,” says Corner trainer Steph Bessert. Indeed, the Pilates-inspired, full-body workout, done on the Megaformer—a machine using adjustable spring resistance—can be intensified for advanced clients, or modified for beginners.

What do you love about Lagree?

I love the way Lagree makes me feel both mentally and physically stronger during and after class. No matter how many classes I take, I still feel challenged.  

How is Lagree different from other workout methods you do or have done in the past?

I never get bored or tired of Lagree. The workout is always changing and creating new challenges.

I’m the strongest I’ve ever been! Not only do I see true muscle definition, but I feel more confident to push myself. I have also made many friends of all ages in class, which is another great benefit of group fitness and the Lagree community.

What do you love about Lagree?

Lagree is the best workout I have ever done. Don't be fooled by the no-shoe workout—Lagree will have you sweating and shaking like a leaf! 

How is Lagree different from other workout methods you do or have done in the past?

Having played two college sports, I have endured all kinds of drills, conditioning, and training. Lagree is kind to my old and over-abused joints. There is also something very Zen about it that calms the racing brain.

Honestly, I think I am the most toned I have ever been in my life.

What do you love about Lagree?

I was apprehensive to try Lagree, based on my age, thinking it would be all young gals and that I would feel inadequate. However, all the instructors were so supportive and welcoming, which really helped me. For anyone who is in my age group and has been hesitant to try Lagree, I would highly recommend giving it a chance. 

How is Lagree different from other workout methods you do or have done in the past?

The sense of accomplishment is really one of the things I would say is different from other workouts I have done.

How has Lagree benefited your overall health and wellness?

I started Lagree after my doctor recommended doing more with weights. Since then, my bone density results improved in almost every area! In the past year, my balance and strength have improved significantly and my abs are more defined, too.
