I am a total wellness enthusiast. Growing up in Montana, I was nurtured by the great outdoors, hiking, rock climbing and water rafting. I was involved in a wide range of sports from a young age – from varsity cheerleading to racing motocross. Needless to say, moving my body has always been a huge part of my life.
After college, I moved to Los Angeles where I became known as an editorial and advertising photographer. During those years, I was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disease. As a regular at the gym, my world was turned upside down as my body started to break down by over conditioning. My Lupus flare-ups became more frequent and intense post-workouts. When I discovered I could manage my Lupus by taking a holistic approach through nutrition, movement, and mindfulness, it became a passion of mine to share my findings with others.
I became an ACE certified fitness instructor with a focus on lowering inflammation in the body through a friction-first, pain-free movement based approach. I am honored to be a new Michigander and a part of The Corner Studio community.
